By bike or by car, you can reach the swimming pool in ten minutes. Walking takes a little over half an hour. De Zien open-air swimming pool is a delightful pool with a slide and a grassy area for sunbathing or playing with your children.

De Waterakkers swimming pool and sauna is easily reached from De Hoop Heritage Park. The swimming pool is mostly covered, with just a small part of it out in the open air. The pool has a slide and a hot tub. There is also a sauna for some serious relaxation.



Stand Up Paddling, also known as SUPping, has become a popular water sport in recent years. It involves standing on a type of surf board and paddling, it's great exercise and allows you to explore the surroundings of the Uitgeestermeer in a very pleasant way.



We work with De Aker canoe hire to provide canoe rentals to visitors. Explore beautiful Noord-Holland via the wonderful water routes and see for yourself the picturesque villages for which this region is so famous!

Zwaansmeer recreational lake


The Zwaansmeer (public) lake borders our park. This lake is a very pleasant spot to hang out beside the water on a sunny day. The grassy area and shallow water make it an ideal playing area for families with (young) children. You can also picnic on the grass and enjoy the sunshine that way!

Surfing and kite-surfing at Wijk aan Zee


The beach at Wijk aan Zee is a great place to learn how to surf and kite-surf from professionals. They have everything you need for your surfing and kite-surfing lessons. When kite-surfing, you use a helmet with a radio, so that you can go on the water safely.
